Free Ski Day at Pine Mountain

I went over to Pine Mountain to shoot the Cascades from the east above the inversion. This might be the place to shoot the sunrise full moon set next week.

Horse Butte and the 55 mm f 1.2

Great depth of field esp. in low light. In the next couple weeks Horse Butte's sunrise shadow will point right at the Sisters.

Killer Frozen Puddles--Yesterday a car was stuck in this jumble of seracs in the middle of the road near Horse Butte.

While skinning back to drop in to the snowmobiles yesterday we watched a super nice sunset on Mt. Bachelor. I submitted it to their "Photo of the Week" page this morning for consideration, et voila. Thank you very much Mt. Bachelor!!! I'll be shooting in bounds tomorrow, we'll see what we get.
