Rich, Christian, the pilots, and I hiked Eyak and this time we skied into Hippy Cove. Close to 2500 vert with skis on all the way down to the water.
The Heeny Range just outside Cordova. Lots of hiking access to good skiing.

Conditions at Eyak: Never Better
After a long morning of watching the clouds roll in and out of the zone. Kevin flew a weather check into the zone and had to call it a no go for the day. After lunch we called the ski area and asked them to fire up the lift for us. Pretty wild concept...
